If you can't control 'em, keep 'em at home!

(My condolences to useless parents...)
It seems that a lot of parents don't really know how to take control of their kids nowadays. All the screaming and shouting on MRT and buses is taking it's toll on me. Spare the rod and spoil the child. Look, I'm not suggesting that they should whip or beat up their kids, but, there has got to be some form on command and control.

If a kid is wailing non-stop, give him the required attention. Pacify thy king (or devil, or wateva, you chose to give birth to him anyway)! If all else fails, you have a few options:
  1. Get off the train and pacify him and stop being a nuisance to others
  2. Silence your kid...

Singaporeans in general lack the required social graces. Not just in this instance. We see it all the time! Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, if you can't control your kids, please put them at home. Thank you!

Dear Ethan,
I agree so much on the kid issue.. i hate.. utterly hate spoilt brats! idiot kids that goes running ard like monkeys in the supermart or on MRT.. The most irritating thing is to see the monkeys' parents sitting there 'admiring' their kid and think, "oh, how spotty or cute he is!" if i have a banana with mi, i will stick it into the parents' face!
